5 Powerful Journalling Techniques for Manifestation

5 Powerful Journalling Techniques for Manifestation

Journalling is a powerful way to connect with your higher self and is a technique that can be harnessed to help set your intentions and bring your manifestations to life. In its simplest form manifestation means to turn something from an idea into reality. Journalling is a fun and simple practice, for all of the methods suggested below we recommend hand writing in your favourite journal to make the process as effective as possible. You can also use a crystal pen during your journalling practice to enable the crystals to infuse your words with positive energy and supercharge your intentions. It is also good to journal in a quiet and peaceful environment where possible so that you won’t be disturbed, you can also create a ritualistic ambience by lighting a crystal intention candle during your practice. Experiment with one of the following five journalling methods to help manifest your dreams…

I am method

What is the I Am method?

Science estimates that 95% of our brain activity is subconscious, meaning that 95% of our manifestations are reflections of the beliefs and programming that is being stored in our subconscious mind. Our subconscious minds are programmed between the ages of 0 - 7 at which time we absorb all of the experiences, beliefs and behaviours that we witness. Therefore our subconscious minds contain beliefs that we picked up from others that may be limiting in nature and may not be in alignment with our desired manifestations. The I Am method is great for helping you to overcome limiting beliefs and reprogram your subconscious mind with beliefs that are a vibrational match with your intentions.

Who should use the I Am method?

If there is something that you have wanted to manifest into your life but you feel as if no matter what you do you can’t seem to bring it into your reality then you may be being blocked by the limiting beliefs stored in your subconscious. This method will help to reprogram that block to enable you to magnetise your manifestation to you more quickly.

How does the I Am method work?

Take out your pen and journal and think of something that you wish to manifest but is yet to come to fruition in your physical reality. Write down any beliefs you have regarding this subject matter. For example if you wish to manifest a relationship some beliefs you may have might be “love is hard'', “I’m too old to find love” or “I am always destined to be single.” Keep writing until you feel as if you have identified every belief you hold related to that subject matter. Now read back over your list and highlight any beliefs that are negative and not in alignment with your desired outcome. Now for each highlighted belief write a positive affirmation that you would like to use to replace the limiting belief. For example if your limiting belief is “love is hard'' you may wish to write the positive affirmation “I experience love easily and effortlessly.” Once you have written positive affirmations for each of your limiting beliefs read through the list of affirmations regularly to help reprogram your subconscious mind through repetition.

5 x 55 Method

What is the 5 x 55 method?

This powerful technique combines affirmations, journalling and numerology and requires you to write down what you want to manifest 55 times for 5 days. Whether done consciously or unconsciously the Law of Attraction is always in action and we are constantly manifesting things into our life. Becoming a conscious manifester allows us to intentionally create our realities as opposed to becoming victims of our subconscious programming. The numbers 5 and 555 also have significance in numerology and signify change.

Who should use the 5 x 55 method?

The 5 x 55 method is great for someone who needs a more disciplined and structured manifestation practice.

How does the 5 x 55 method work?

To begin, take out your pen and journal and write down an intention to state what it is your wish to manifest. For example “I want to manifest £1000”. Then take this intention and write it out as an affirmation for example “I am so grateful that I have £1000 to book my dream holiday to Bali”. Make your affirmation as specific as possible to enable you to feel the feeling of your wish as if it's been fulfilled. Then every day for the next five days write this affirmation in your journal 55 times a day.

Future Self Method

What is the future self method?

As dictated by the Law of Assumption, in order to manifest anything you must first align yourself with the feeling and embody the vibration of your desire as if your wish has been fulfilled. The future self method enables you to act as if you are living out your dreams and through the process be able to tap into the associated emotions. This process also allows you to gain clarity about what it is that you would like to manifest.

Who should use the future self method?

If you struggle with other Law Of Assumption techniques, particularly visualisation then this could be a great method to allow you to feel the feeling of the wish fulfilled and ultimately magnetise your desired outcome into your reality faster. It is also a great method if you struggle to gain clarity on what it is you want your future to look like.

How does the future self method work?

Take out your favourite pen and journal and write the date at the top of the page as if it was five years from today. Then begin writing your journal entry in the first person and in the present tense. Write out your whole day, from the moment you wake up until the moment you go to bed at night. How are you spending your day? Who are you spending it with? The more detailed and descriptive you make the entry the more it should invoke positive feelings. Don’t censor or question what you write, just allow it to flow freely onto the page. Once you have finished, set your journal aside and take a break. At a later date read back through your journal entry and highlight any manifestations that you would like to start working on now. You can then set these intentions using an intention setting ritual.

Gratitude Method

What is the gratitude method?

Gratitude is one of the highest vibrational states a human can experience. The higher our vibration the quicker we can manifest our dreams into our reality, therefore it is a good practice to embody high vibrational states as often as possible. The gratitude method involves listing out 5 things you are truly grateful for to allow yourself to experience this high vibration state.

Who should use the gratitude method?

If you are looking to raise your vibration to help magnetise your manifestations as quickly as possible then the gratitude method is a great option. If you are also finding yourself stuck in lower vibration emotions such as anger, sadness or loneliness then this is a great method to help you shift into a higher state of consciousness.

How does the gratitude method work?

This method is simple yet effective. Take out your pen and favourite journal and write a list of five things you are grateful for. To amplify the impact, start the statement with ‘I am’ and make the list as emotive as possible to allow you to connect even deeper with the associated emotions.

For example: I am so grateful for my cat, he loves me unconditionally and I love the way he greets me at the door when I get home from work it brings me such joy.

369 method

What is the 369 method?

The 369 method is a journalling technique that allows you to harness the power of repetition with the desired outcome of programming your brain to align with your desired manifestation to help bring it into physical reality.

Who should use the 369 method?

This method is great if you are looking for a daily manifestation practice to help reinforce your intentions.

How does the 369 method work?

Start by taking out your journal and pen and getting really clear on what you would like your intention to be. Once you have confirmed what manifestation you are wanting to call in, write it into an affirmation. For example, if you are wishing to lose 10lbs your affirmation could be “I am so grateful that I have lost 10lbs, I feel so healthy and energised”. Once your affirmation is confirmed you are required to write it into your journal three times first thing in the morning, six times in the afternoon and nine times in the evening, continue this daily until your manifestation comes into fruition.

We hope you enjoy these journalling methods, let us know in the comments below which is your favourite.
